Second theory, the current physical condition of the individual.
The first theory does not provide an accurate measure of someone’s condition or there physical age, just how long they have been here. The second theory is based on the fitness, strength and mental well-being of the individual.
It has been said that one of the best ways to delay the physical ageing process and prolong health and vitality is to maintain as much muscle mass for as long as possible.
What to do to maintain strength:
- Exercise with resistance – exercise with free weights
- Minimum 2-3 times per week
- Maintain a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity daily (planned intentional exercise)
- Maintain a health balanced diet
